Page 2 of heads in different art styles

Second set of studies, these were more carefully examined and I wrote down a lot more.
I did seem to have a problem when it came to drawing faces looking forward though. I'm not sure if it's just my own lack of skill when it comes to getting the facial feature the right distance apart or if it's because I know the artists moved the features about a bit as part of stylising them and then I overdo it. Maybe I've just not drawn enough forward facing faces in a while.
I have been really enjoying doing these studies. There's no pressure behind them, just little drawings, but they're still useful as I work out my style...they do take way longer than they should though, I'd like to say that's because I'm really studying what the original artist did but for the most part I'm just slow.

So the top left and midle are based on the artist Hellobaby's work. I've talked about her before here.
I really adore the way she does hair. It's similar to the way Chloe C, I mentioned her in the last page of studies, does it but less simplified: the hair loops back in on itself a lot though this time some strands escape. It also has the thicker in shadow lines that I rather like from the other studies as well. I will say though that there's just way too much detail in it for me not to grow bored of drawing it, even my studies are less detailed than the originals.
Her faces are a bit too doll like for what I want though. I do really like them, but they can't do the variety of expressions I'd want. Do like the gap in the bottom eyelid line though.

The study in the top right is based on DestinyBlue's art. I've seen her at a few Comic cons, amazing colours.
Trying out this style was more of a curiosity than something I was really considering. I love her art but her characters are very...cute. And too soft and curvy faced for what I want.
One thing I do really like is when she brakes her lines, in the example below she does it on the lips and nose. There's enough of the line there to convey what needs to be shown but any spare part or aria where the edge isn't so sharp is removed.

The bottom left three heads are based on Danica Sills. She's probaby my current favouritie artist, I just foud her youtube channel recently.
Again I love the hair, it's almost like twisted chiffon in the way it folds and bellows out. There's so many pretty ways of doing hair, it's going to be hard to decide what I want.
I also really like how little the dip inwards between her character's eyes is in a side on view is so slight, for a long time I made it really big and deep and I don't like it like that. In fact I like everything about the silhouette of her side on faces.
I think I might also use the way she does front on noses...I've always found them to be a pain unless I just draw this little U shape, having an idea of what I want to include and exclude in the nose really helps.

The bottom right one is based on Drachenmagier's art. I don't know how they do it but everything is stylised and has patterns and is gorgeous, doesn't matter what the subject is.
I've not got much to say about the faces, they're pretty simple but then again I couldn't find one where the character was close enough to fit much complexity in them anyway.
And then there's the hair...I think I must just really love stylised hair. For a long time I didn't really think about it, just sort of thought of two styles: Manga and realistic and that's it.
But things like this I love. The way it's all one long strand and no other bits come off it. And that it doesn't end in a point too....however I think this is maybe a bit too stylised for what I want, it very much works well with everything around it also being stylised but maybe not otherwise.

To be honest whist I'm working on the comic and with the winter holidays coming up I'm starting to run out of things to post about. I might take a brake over from winter solstice to new years, we'll see. Depends on how much content I have and how busy I am.
