The one
on the far right is how I ended up allocating the colours, I did do some tests
for her bottom half as well but forgot to take screenshots at the time and
didn't want to recreate them. It was mostly just trying to get each aria to
stand out and not overlap in colour with the ones next to it anyway.
The next problem I had was there was just too much similarity between the different versions. I knew I didn't want purple skin so I ended up deciding to just create all the different versions I could using my pattern and avoiding the purple skin.
After
that I just went through my twelve colour sets and started to remove them. I
decided I didn't like the white hair so removed that but otherwise it was
mostly just taking two and comparing them. Originally I really wanted the green
skin but unfortunately doing that left her in a more or less black and white
outfit which I didn't like.... if the colour palette was just a little different
I would have gone for a more interesting skin tone. I do like their chosen
colours but they're hard to work with...very cold and the green and purple are
very similar in darkness.
These were
my final four...I feel like more thought should have gone into picking them but
there really wasn't one version out of the twelve that stood out to me so my
picking method was mostly on whim.
I when with the far left one. Why? because I didn't like the black and white dresses and she felt far too plain with black hair...that is all. It also has good contrast without many arias that the green and purple competed.

Now I
just have to do the back pose.
Sorry,
it's really late at night, I don't have much brain power left.
